The placement of Rotary benches in the park is in continuing support of the Rotary Club of LaBelle's Centennial Nature Park Project started in 2004 in recognition of Rotary International's 100th birthday.
The Rotary benches were purchased with the matching Grant from Rotary District 6960 and monies generated from the Armadillo Races at the annual Swamp Cabbage Festival. The benches are places along the park trails for those that want to enjoy the scenic views, activities of birds and other animals or just take a moment and relax.
